Attitudes towards work play an important role in maintaining productivity and harmony in the workplace.

Employee attitudes

Employee attitudes are an important variable in facilitating peoples job involvement and their subsequent levels of job satisfaction. For example, people with a good work ethic are more likely to be commited to their jobs and through processes of cognitive dissonance to enjoy it more.


Employer attitudes

Employer attitudes are important for setting the tone in the workplace. If their only concern is work load and productivity at the expense of their employees this may be counterproductive.
