Visual stimulation is a form of perceptual stimulation, the stimulation of the visual system. Psychologists have studied a number of ways of providing such input:
- Dichoptic stimulation
- Prismatic stimulation

The input can be varied along a number of dimensions to explore the characteristics of the system
