Hi. Thanks for helping out on the Psychology Wiki. Just to say our preference is for US spellings but we are happy to tolerate UK spellings where they occur. Dr Joe Kiff (talk) 22:59, September 23, 2012 (UTC)
No problem, I am using the US spellings. I know how hard it can be to keep spelling in check when you have a wiki as large as this. If the founder wants I could get a Bot tag, which hides the massive amounts of edits that will be happening.
- This is excellent. It is probably best to get a bot tag as I can see how busy you will be. Does your robot do other things. I would really like to get one that would search out links that are red and give me two options, to do either
- simply take the brackets away from that word throughout the wiki if the subject is not relevant
- import the article from Wikipedia if it is relevant
Someone also helped before to import missing images from WP and we could do with another run of that.
I would love to be able to run robots myself but don't know where to start with the programming.
Sorry let me introduce myself, I am the runner of this bot. I havent been doing it for awhile (computer crash ) but i plan to start once more very soon. I will try my best to meet your needs and I am using a Bot program that wikipedia supplies actually.
