About MeEdit

I am a licensed mental health clinician.

I am a member of several professional associations, including the Association for the Treatment and Training in the Attachment of Children (www.ATTACh.org) and serve as chair of their Registration Committee for clinical and agency members.

I am licensed in several of the United States and have achieved Dipolmate status with the American Board of Psychological Specialities in Child Psychology and Forensic Psychology. I work extensively with a number of Child Welfare agencies through out the U.S., Canada, and overseas providing training, consultation, and evaluations. I am often called upon to testify as an expert witness in court proceeding regarding the evaluation and treatment of children and other mental health matters across the United States.

I am President of the Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy Institute, which certifies therapists, consultants, and trainers in this evidence-based, effective, and empirically validated treatment. I am also a certified Dyadic Developmental psychotherapist, consultant, and trainer. I service on the board of the Coalition of Adoption and Foster Family Agencies in Western New York. I am on the International Board of Directors of the Association for the Treatment and Training in the Attachment of Children, serve as Vice-President for clinical matters, and chair the registration committee.
