- Life is stressful and trainees are only human. Like anyone else the visssitudes of life can overwhelm us and we are not immune from death, divorce, longterm illness because we are trainees. We may require therapeutic help simply because we are troubled, depressed, anxious enough.

- It is useful to see a qualified professional at work at first hand. This can help demistify the business of psychological help and aid professional thinking at a number of levels.
