Terminologia Anatomica (TA) is the international standard on human anatomical terminology. It was developed by the Federative Committee on Anatomical Terminology (FCAT) and the International Federation of Associations of Anatomists (IFAA). Released in 1998, it supersedes the previous standard, Nomina Anatomica.

The TA divides anatomical structures into the following main categories (Latin standard in parentheses) :
- General anatomy (Anatomia generalis)
- Bones (Ossa)
- Joints (Juncturae)
- Muscles (Musculi)
- Alimentary system (Systema digestorium)
- Respiratory system (Systema respiratorium)
- Thoracic cavity (Cavitas thoracis)
- Urinary system (Systema urinarium)
- Genital systems (Systemata genitalia)
- Abdominopelvic cavity (Cavitas abdominis et pelvis)
- Endocrine glands (Glandulae endocrinae)
- Cardiovascular system (Systema cardiovasculare)
- Lymphoid system (Systema lymphoideum)
- Nervous system (Systema nervosum)
- Sense organs (Organa sensuum)
- The integument (Integumentum commune)
