Teleiophilia (from Greek teleios, "full grown") is a term coined by sexologist Ray Blanchard to refer to the sexual interest in adults.[1] It is used by professional sexologists when comparing (for example) pedophiles with teleiophiles, and Diederik Janssen, MD uses the term "Peripubescent Teleiophilia" in reference to "crush" phenomenon.[2] Although this term is used to refer to any person attracted to adults (including adults attracted to adults), it can also refer to minors, adolescents, and young adults attracted to mature adults rather than their own peers.
