A technique is a procedure that is used as a single strategy. The difference with a method is that the procedure is used as usual, frequent strategy. For instance, Phillips 6.6 could be used as a technique if the teacher applies it once a week or once a month. It could be used as a method if he/she uses it in every classroom as usual procedure to develop teaching and learning.
