Talk:Suicide methods

Yeah, it sounds great to "get help," but if one is financially distressed and can see little, if any, hope in their financial future, who is going to "help"? How will they help? By instilling a sense of self-worth in someone who literally HAS NO TANGIBLE WORTH? Unless the therapist/counselor is going to pay the person's bills (INSTEAD of making it MORE difficult by paying the therpist $150 per hour!), then "help" is simply a concept/idea/theory. If "help" means standing in line to get free watered-down soup, then suicide could seem like a better option... if "successful," it removes the person from the pain quite effectively. The key is to make it look like an accident so the family's grief is about the loss and NOT about how THEY failed to "help" the suicidal person (who really just had an "accident"). 8.17.32.242 21:08, September 30, 2010 (UTC)
