This was copied from the Muppet Wiki, and so needs to be re-written and made more appropriate for the Psychology Wiki.

Its basically a more simple introduction than many of the others, but at the same time has lots of useful information contained in it. I learned some stuff from reading this intro, and its easy to forget that some people are total beginners at Wiki editing, but may be very very good at Psychology. We don't want to alienate people with complexity.
