Appropriate for the Psychology Wiki?[]

The contribution is certainly appreciated. However, this needs to be academically referenced. I checked the external source, and it was another wiki that didn't have a source for this material. I'm not sure, but it also doesn't look like much of a serious academic topic, (though I'm not completely certain). I looked for this subject on google scholar and only got 7 hits. I think only two or three of them were links to journal abstracts. I even wonder if this article should be tagged for deletion...(sorry if that sounds harsh! We just want to make sure that we work towards bringing the Psychology Wiki to a high academic standard.) Jason Bessey - Jaywin (talk) 16:35, 9 September 2006 (UTC)

I had to chuckle, but as soon as I read the article title, I thought of "the nice girl syndrome" which is a true syndrome. While it may not have shown up in the professional yet, it is strongly linked to enough well-researched behaviours that set many women up for being used. --Cricket's Courage 08:43, 10 November 2006 (UTC)
