Hi Josh. How do we define non traditional knowledge. It is not a term I am familiar with. I feel these concepts are introduced too soon. We are trying to establish a definition of epistemology and it is unhelpful again to do this in terms of specialist or obtuse concepts. If non traditional knowledge is a valid distinction you could perhaps include a later section explaining the issues and set up a seperate article for it with the requisite references etc. Dr Joe Kiff 18:17, April 16, 2010 (UTC)

Ok, these terms are standard in epistemology according to the stanford encyclopedia of philosophy. These are the two basic theories it describes in the introduction to epistemology, so I believe these are both modern and commonly referred to in this subsection of philosophy.
