Talk:Cultural norms involving wikis

From Psychology Wiki

Jump to: navigation, search

This is Fuzzform from Wikipedia. I object, though not strongly, to the the use of real names as a supposed cultural norm. Very few people on Wikipedia use their real names, and that site is after all, the wiki.

Yes he's right, this is NOT a cultural norm on wikis at all. We need to make it clear that this is something we are trying on the Psychology Wiki. Tom Michael Mostly Zen Image:Baby_tao.jpg (talk) 11:11, 3 August 2006 (UTC)
Meatball:UseRealNames. Wiki:RealNamesPlease. So it is a cultural norm on some wikis. I doubt that anything on the list now (other than possibly Do not vandalize wikis) is a cultural norm on all wikis. --Kernigh 01:33, 5 August 2006 (UTC)
