- Endeavour to support the self-determination of clients, while at the same tine remaining alert to potential limits placed upon self-determination by personal characteristics or by externally imposed circumstances.
- Ensure from the first contact that clients are aware of their right to withdraw at any time from the receipt of professional services or from research participation.
- Comply with requests by clients who are withdrawing from research participation that any data by which they might be personally identified, including recordings, be destroyed.
