Rehabilitation Counseling is a social science field focused on assisting injured workers and persons with disabilities to obtain, maintain or regain employment. In the US Persons in this field fall under the regulation of the Rehabilitation Services Administration (RSA) and the National Rehabilitation Association (NRA). Rehabilitation counselors typically must hold a masters degree in rehabilitation counseling or a related field and acquire Commission on Rehabilitation Counselor Certification (CRCC)in order to be allowed to practice in the United States and Canada.
