Quality of services is a term referring to the standard of service provision within an organization and the systems available for quality control and managing performance. With regard to health care delivery in health care services the preferred term is quality of care.

From a psychological point of view the expectations set by organizations in the customers mind, through advertising and marketing etc helps shape consumer attitudes and determines the context for judgements about customer satisfaction
