The parvocellular red nucleus (RNp) is located in the rostral midbrain and is involved in motor coordination. Together with the magnocellular red nucleus, it makes up the red nucleus.[1]

cerebral aqueduct: oculomotor nucleus, trochlear nucleus, Edinger-Westphal nucleus
