The Parental Consent Act of 2005 (H.R. 181 ) was a bill "to prohibit the use of Federal funds for any universal mental health screening program." The bill was introduced on January 4, 2005, to the first session of the 109th United States Congress. It is sponsored by Representative Ron Paul of Texas. It had 44 co-sponsors. It has since expired.
