Parent child interaction is an aspect of parent child relations and is concerned with the amount and quality of social interaction between them and the implications of such interaction upon not only on the quality of their relationship but upon the child (in terms of educational achievement, mental health etc) and upon the parents (in terms of marital satisfaction etc). This concept includes parent child communication.
