A panic attack is a sudden episode of intense fear that develops for no apparent reason and that triggers severe physical reactions. Today panic attacks are a serious problem in the U.S. At least 20% of adult Americans, or about 60 million people, will suffer from panic attacks at some point in their lives. About 1.7% of adult Americans, or about 3 million people, will have full-blown panic disorder at some time in their lives, with the peak age at which people have their first panic attack (onset) being 15-19 years.


Symptoms of a panic attackEdit

Panic attacks can be frightening and influence your life negatively. When panic attacks occur, you might think you're losing control, having a heart attack or even dying. Symptoms of panic attacks are terrible:

  • Dizziness
  • Faintness
  • Tightness in your throat
  • Trouble swallowing
  • Sweating
  • Trembling
  • Shortness of breath
  • Hyperventilation

It is obvious that panic attacks are real problem in life but you can stop it and control. Today there are various way how to overcome panic attacks from medication treatment to self-help techniques. But medication influences organism negatively.

However panic attacks are actually mental problem. In this case it is possible to overcome a panic attack without doctors by using simple tips.

The main reason of panic attacks is fear. In almost every situation a person feels that he is scared and after the first panic attack everyone begins to feel fear because future atacks can happen. Ways to overcome panic attacks are:

  • Focus on positive sides of live
  • Realize that you can control yourself
  • Do more exercises
  • Breath fresh air more
  • Start to think about everything in a positive way
  • Communicate with people you love more
