Matthew Tyler Giobbi (born 1974) is an author, psychologist, photographer and educator in the fields of science criticism, philosophy, media theory, psychoanalysis and psychology. He has written "A Postcognitive Negation: The Sadomasochistic Dialectic of American Psychology"[1], A "A" Effort: The College Student's Guide to Success[2], and is the Editor of The International Association of Transdisciplinary Psychology[3][4][5]Giobbi is the Erich Fromm Research Associate at the European Graduate School in Switzerland. Giobbi is a part-time lecturer of psychology at Rutgers University, Newark, New Jersey[6] and a part-time professor of social sciences at Mercy College, New York City.[7][8]
