The Level of Care Utilization System (LOCUS) is a widely used instrument for determining the appropriate level of service intensity for persons with a mental disorder. It is published by the American Association of Community Psychiatrists and distributed by Deerfield Behavioral Health in Eria, Pennsylvania.
