Leopold Bellak (1916-2002) was a psychologist who studied personality and was particularly interested in the use of Projective personality measures and did work using the Thematic Apperception Test and the Childrens Apperception Test.

He also worked on a study comparing the ego functions of people with schizophrenia and those in normal controls.

EducationEdit

Initially he trained both as a psychiatrist and as a psychoanalyst. He later became professor of psychology at New York University and was clinical professor of psychiatry at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York.

AwardsEdit

In 1992 he was awarded the American Psychological Association's Award for Distinguished Professional Contributions.
