Law enforcement is the system society puts in place to administer justice and to maintain the Law. The criminal justice system is run by law enforcement personnel who are appointed by government to investigate those who break the laws of the country. On the basis of legal evidence obtained people are legally arrested or legally detained and subjected to an adjudication process and if found guilty may be incarcerated or put on probation.
