The Lateral hypothalamus is a part of the hypothalamus. It can refer to one of two terms that are easily confused:
- "Lateral hypothalamic area" (BrainInfo at the University of Washington hier-409)
- "Lateral zone of hypothalamus" (BrainInfo at the University of Washington ancil-316)
