- The Journal of Theoretical and Philosophical Psychology is published by Division 24 of the American Psychological Association, the Society for Theoretical and Philosophical Psychology. The Journal is devoted to fostering discussion at the interface of psychology and philosophy. In keeping with the Journal's interdisciplinary mission, both psychology and philosophy are broadly construed to encompass a diversity of methodologies in empirical, theoretical, clinical, historical, literary, and cultural research. Special emphasis is devoted to work addressing the philosophical underpinnings of psychological inquiry or the implications of psychological inquiry for philosophical problems. The Journal welcomes contributions of all kinds, including essays, reviews, commentaries, and empirical studies with theoretical import.
