John Hilton Edwards (March 26, 1928 – October 11, 2007) was a British medical geneticist. He is credited with the first description, in 1960, of the syndrome now known as Edwards syndrome or trisomy 18.^[1] In 1979, he was elected to fellowship of the Royal Society.^[2]. His brother is the geneticist and statistician A.W.F. Edwards.
