Jerome L. Singer is an American psychologist, Emeritus Professor of psychology at Yale University. He has been an active researcher in the areas of imagination, [[daydreaming] and mind-wandering.

Along with John S. Antrobus of the City College of New York he created a daydream questionnaire, the Imaginal Process Inventory (IPI).
