Janel Gauthier is a distinguished Canadian psychologist. He is presently Professor of psychology at École de psychologie, Université Laval, Quebec.

He is Chairman, of the Canadian National Committee of Psychology and chair of the Ad Hoc Joint Committee for the development of a Universal Declaration of Ethical Principles for Psychologists set up by IUPsyS
