JabRef is an open source bibliography reference manager for Linux, Mac OS X and Windows (using Sun Java VM version 1.5 and newer). The native file format used by JabRef is BibTeX. There are many import and export filters for files and online databases, options to push citations to Kile, Lyx, Winedt, OpenOffice, HTML (etc), and an interface for (future) plugins written in java.
