To do this use the 'Upload file' link below the search boxes on the left hand side panel. This will enable you to upload a pdf file, which you have on your computer, to the Psychology Wiki.
Put the name you want to call the file once it is uploaded into the box provided. Then put a description of the file with
|
template (see the "edit" version of this page to understand this) which will free the copyright. Then locate the file on your computer with the browse box. When all is ready to go - hit the upload button.
Having uploaded the file to the Psychology Wiki, when you want to make a link to the uploaded pdf file, you have to make the link with the picture frame button (Image button)- next to the A by the globe on the picture buttons above the edit box.
To do this type the name of the file where you want the link to go. Include the .pdf extension. Then highlight the name of your file, click the picture frame and it will put the word "image" and a pair of square brackets around the name to make the link.
Save the page and the link should now call the pdf file.
