When copying images onto the wiki you should be sure that they are not copyrighted elsewhere. Most images on Wikipedia are released under GDFL license but there are exceptions and these should not be used. Generally you should note the circumstances of how the image was obtained in the appropriate field of the upload image box. (see below) and you should make it clear if you are releasing your own images that you do so under the license.
