People who are homebound or housebound are those that are not mobile enough to leave their own homes usually because of physical disorders or health impairments arising from aging. As a consequence they may need home care support, often provided by home care personnel on home visiting programs. Even partial assistance can help ease the caregiving burden on partners and other family members
