Harry Helson (1898-1977) was an American physiological psychologist. He developed the adaptation-level theory of perception

He influenced the development of Roy's model of nursing.

HistoryEdit

He was born in Chelsea, Massachusetts on 9th November 1898 and died in Berkley California on 13 October 1977.

EducationEdit

He was a lifelong friend of J P Guildford.

Harry Helson was a student of Wilhelm Wundt (1832-1920) who was one of the "fathers" of modern psychology.
