George Westby was a British psychologist who was the first Professor of Psychology at University College Cardiff, University of Wales. This university has now become Cardiff University.

Prior to this appointment he was at the department in Hull University.

He edited one of the first books on computers and psychology with Micheal J. Apter[1]


He was elected President of the British Psychological Society in 1965.
