Sir George H Savage (1842-1921). Educated at Brighton College, Savage became Physician-Superintendent of the Bethlem Royal Hospital, President of the Medico-Psychological Association of Great Britain. He acted as joint editor of Journal of Mental Science and wrote Insanity and Allied Neuroses(1884). He was knighted in 1912.
