In 1812, Georg Sachs published a medical dissertation (in Latin) describing his own albinism and that of his sister.

He also described another his own experience of synaesthesia seeing music and simple sequences (including numbers, days, and letters) as colors.[1]

This was one of the first accounts published of both conditions
