The General Aptitude Test Battery (GABT) is a measure of a wide range of aptitudes and is used in such areas as occupational selection, rehabilitation, and vocational counseling,


The Battery measure nine different general aptitudes using twelve timed tests, (8 paper and pencil tests). The aptitudes asessed include:

  • General learning ability
  • Verbal aptitude
  • Numerical aptitude
  • Spatial aptitude
  • Form perception
  • Clerical perception
  • Motor co-ordination
  • Finger dexterity
  • Manual dexterity
