Franz Alexander (1891 – 1964) born in Budapest. He was a graduate of the Berlin Psychoanalytic . He was invited in 1930 by Robert Hutchins, then President of the University of Chicago, to become its Visiting Professor of Psychoanalysis.
Alexander advocated the concept of adjustment emotional experience.
