Educational financial assistance is funding paid, in most jurisdictions where there is not free access to education, in order that selected children or schools do not suffer from lack of resources. Sometimes these payments are made in the form of loans for later repayment. Some assistance is provided by government programs, in the form of scholarships or stipends, while private educational trusts are another source of funds.
