Cotherapy or conjoint therapy is psychotherapy conducted with more than one therapist present. This format is more common in dyadic therapy session such as in relationship counseling and in group and family therapy

this type of therapy was mostly used by Carl Whitaker in his sessions and he usually brought in another therapist to make it easier for the family to see their situation in a different way.
