In psychology Conditioning refers to the process of learning in which the behavior of an organism becomes dependent on environmental stimulation. The two main approaches to this are:
- Classical conditioning, a type of associative learning
- Operant conditioning, the modification of behavior brought about over time by the consequences of said behavior
