Conceptual tempo or cognitive tempo is an area of individual difference in the speed of information processing. It can be regarded as an element of cognitive style as some people have a quicker cognitive processing speed over a whole range of cognitive processes such decision making than others, varying as they do on a reflectivity-impulsivity continuum.
