Bodies Under Siege is the title of a book written by renowned Psychiatrist Dr. Armando Favazza, and published in 1996. The book addresses the subject of "Self-mutilation and Body Modification in Culture and Psychiatry", a description which serves as a subtitle.

The title also lends its name to a messageboard and community for people who self-harm, commonly known as 'BUS' - which can be found at http://buslist.org/phpBB
