Axodendritic synapses are axons which connect axon to dendrites .
Most synapses connect axons to dendrites,[1][2] but there are also other types of connections, including axon-to-cell-body,[3][4] axon-to-axon,[3][4] and dendrite-to-dendrite.[2]
