Assessing the psychological literature in developing countries is problematic due to the high costs of subscription to most of the recognised journals.
Some headway in this area has been lead by the International Network for the Availability of Scientific Publications who with the BPS have made online access to journals possible to 70 institutions in 17 different developing countries.
