The Anna Freud Centre (formerly, the Hampstead Clinic) is a therapeutic and research facility located in London and offering psychiatric treatment for families and children, especially handicapped children. The facility was founded in 1951 by Anna Freud, Dorothy Burlingham, and Helen Ross. In 1982, after Anna Freud's death, its name was changed to the "Anna Freud Centre."
