Alexander Mitscherlich (September 20, 1908 – June 26, 1982) was a German Psychologist.

Born in Munich, he was a Professor of Psychology at the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University of Frankfurt am Main, and in 1969 he was awarded the Peace Prize of the German Book Trade.

He died in Frankfurt.
