The word agender means lacking gender. A person who is agender is not a part of the gender binary of man-woman; they would also not have a gender identity outside of that binary. While being agender should be a non-issue, for many agender people it can become a huge issue due to our society's lack of recognition of anything outside the binary, let alone a person who does not have a gender.
Agender people may be MAAB (male assigned at birth), FAAB (female assigned at birth) or IAAB (intersex assigned at birth). Some agender people may wish to change their assigned sex, and some may also identify as neutrois.
Some consider being agender as being one of the genderqueer identities.
