The adverse psychiatric reaction to prescription drugs is a particular form of adverse drug reaction associated with prescription drugs some of them psychiatric medications others prescribed for a wide variety of physical disorders.
It is alleged by groups such as APRIL that these drug reactions can be mistakenly diagnosed as mental disorders which are then treated inappropriately as the genuine condition.
